Commitment to Our Community
At Maxim we’re not just committed to the health and well-being of our patients, but we are also committed to the health and well-being of the community. That’s why Maxim strongly encourages service and volunteerism among its employees.
In 2009 Maxim launched Maxim Life (mlife), a company-wide volunteer program that encourages community involvement, providing the opportunity for employees to make a difference in their communities as a team or individually.
Maxim employees have used this opportunity to become involved in community cleanups, help build houses for Habitat for Humanity, and raise money for organizations like the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the American Cancer Society.

The Ronald McDonald House
Ronald McDonald House Charities provide an opportunity for stability to families with a child facing medical hardship. Maxim’s Columbia, Md. office supports the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore by organizing, funding, and deploying teams of Maxim volunteers to service the families residing there. Maxim has also held gift drives to help support families during the holidays.
American Red Cross
A vital piece to emergency and disaster response, the American Red Cross touches millions of lives every year through humanitarian aid and crisis outreach. Maxim has partnered with the American Red Cross to host blood drives at Maxim’s Columbia, Md. office and has also held employee donation campaigns to assist during times of need.
With more than 360 offices, Maxim has a presence in hundreds of communities nationwide. The people in these communities are our patients, our caregivers, and our families. The communities we serve are a part of Maxim, which is why we are steadfast in our commitment to providing opportunities for employees to support the communities in which they live.
Commitment to Our Employees
Maxim’s greatest asset is its compassionate and hard-working employees. As Maxim continues to support the communities in which we live, we realize we also need to support each other, especially in times of need. That’s why Maxim established the Maxim Charitable Foundation (MCF). Tragedy can strike anyone at anytime. MCF was founded in 2010 to aid Maxim Healthcare Services employees and their families during times of need. The foundation is funded by employee donations and all proceeds go to support and assist our Maxim employees through some of the most difficult times of their lives, including floods, fires, and other personal tragedies.
