STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant)

Maxim Healthcare Staffing is seeking STNAs to provide assistance to patients with daily living tasks, under the supervision of a registered nurse.  

Responsibilities 
  • ADLs
  • Bladder Scans
  • Accudose / Accucheck 
  • Skin assessments
  • Turns, lifts, etc
  • Giving patients important social and emotional support.
  • Providing vital information on patient conditions to nurses.
  • Be responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming and feeding, assisting nurses with medical equipment, and checking patient vital signs.
  • Other STNA duties as assigned.
Qualifications 
  • Current, unencumbered Ohio STNA license
  • Minimum one year of STNA experience required, hospital experience a PLUS
  • Current BLS certification, through AHA 
  • Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray.
  • Flu shot for 2020-2021 season
  • Reliable transportation
Job Details
  • 3 12 hour shifts (7p- 7:30a)
  • Contract assignment: 6 to 13 weeks
  • Full time work
