He chose Maxim for his internship because of our commitment to providing a meaningful experience, offering insight into corporate roles and fostering valuable networking opportunities with other interns, coworkers and executives. As an IS Applications intern, Timmy has gained incredible learning experience and support from the IS department, where everyone is eager to help with challenges. Timmy also appreciates Maxim’s emphasis on networking and shadowing, which has broadened his understanding of other departments and their corporate functions.

His future goals include joining the cybersecurity sector as a Security Analyst on the blue team, a team tasked with protecting an organization’s information systems by preserving its security posture against simulated attackers. He also wants to eventually explore the red team, a team of individuals authorized and structured to simulate an adversary’s attack or exploitation capabilities against an organization’s security defenses. Lastly, he looks forward to earning an MBA to advance into leadership roles.
