With more service members returning home from duty, the need for medical care in the home is increasing significantly. Services and procedures that are needed today require a greater emphasis on skilled care, communication, experience and flexibility. With the help of our caregivers, we are here to provide you the support you need to survive and thrive.

Helping Veterans, Active Duty Service Members and Their Families
Our dedicated team helps manage care for many injured service members and their families for a wide variety of conditions or injuries. Maxim provides nursing, personal care, companion services, therapy and other home care assistance. Care options include:

  • Ventilator and tracheostomy care
  • Feeding tube care and management
  • Seizure managements
  • Oxygen management
  • Coordination of home medical equipment and supplies

Programs Associated with Veterans, Active Duty Service Members and their Families

TRICARE eligible beneficiaries may include active duty service members (ADSMs) and their families, retired service members and their families, National Guard and Reserved members and their families, survivors, certain former spouses and others. Services we provide include:

Department of Veterans Affairs
Maxim provides caregiving services for those qualified to receive care by the VA, with many that need care for a condition or disability while developed during duty. The following programs we work with are:

  • Community Care Network
  • Veterans Choice Agreement (VCAs)
  • Patient-Centered Community Care (PC3)

Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMPVA)
CHAMPVA is a program in which the VA shares the cost of covered health care services and supplies with eligible beneficiaries. There is no network for individuals that qualify for this program, but Maxim locations are poised to assist beneficiaries with their skilled home care needs.

Spina Bifida Program
Provides health care benefits for biological children of a Korean or Vietnam War Veteran that has been diagnosed with spina bifida.

Camp Lejeune Family Program
The Camp Lejeune Family Program is for family members of veterans that lived or served at the U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, between August 1, 1953, and December 31, 1987, and were potentially exposed to drinking water contaminated with industrial solvents, benzene and other chemicals.

Children of Women Vietnam Veterans Health Care Benefits Program
This provides VA-financed healthcare benefits to women Vietnam veterans’ birth children who the Veterans Administration has determined to have a covered birth defect.
