Care that comes to you
What is private duty nursing?
It’s the peace of mind that comes with comfort, care and a personalized approach. Our hospital-level skilled private duty nursing (PDN) services cater to patients who prefer their home setting, bringing high-quality, compassionate nursing services to them. Studies show PDN may be less expensive than a facility stay, costing up to half as much as a single hospital day.
Convenient, heartfelt care
Available 24/7
We know you might not know when you’ll need us. With over 150 office locations nationwide, our priority is making sure you have access to on-call support—24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and holidays.
Payment options
We work with you to determine an available payment option that fits your resources and lifestyle, including Medicaid, private insurance or private funds.
We believe in better outcomes
Our dedicated team is compassionate, experienced and your partner in your home health journey. Our nurses are trained, screened and credentialed—providing care for patients with a variety of conditions. We provide:
- Ventilator and tracheostomy care
- G-tube care and management
- Diabetes management
- Seizure management
- Oxygen management
- TPN infusion
- Medication administration
We work in tandem with patients, families and medical teams, communicating any changes in patient condition, promoting education in the home, coordinating home medical equipment and supplies, and using physician-directed care to support ongoing goal achievement.
One of the greatest joys as a mother is hearing your child laugh. And with Maxim’s nurses team’s help, we have a home filled with laughter.
